7 American Made T-Shirt Brands for the Modern Minimalist
Quality blank t-shirts are a staple of every minimalist wardrobe. Investing in a few well-made t-shirts is preferable to owning an entire drawer of cheaply made t-shirts that need to be replaced twice as often. Quality over quantity is the motto here.
My personal hunt for the perfect t-shirt inspired me to compile a list of my favorite apparel brands that manufacturer high quality tees right here in America.

Royal Apparel has been manufacturing quality apparel since 1992. If you are looking for an introduction to hemp t-shirts (and a cheaper alternative to Jungmaven) then check out their Hemp Organic Cotton T-shirt. You won't be disappointed.
Belle + Canvas T-Shirt | Made in USA
Bell + Canvas
Bell + Canvas is a great alternative to American Apparel. They have a few different t-shirt blends to choose from but my favorite is their super soft tri-blend tee that has held up extremely well over countless washes.

American Apparel
American Apparel has been a basics staple of mine for years. Their Tri-Blend tee is my go-to favorite. These t-shirts are buttery soft, slim fit and available in a ton of colors.
Update: American Apparel no longer manufactures their t-shirts in the USA. The company was acquired by Gildan in 2017 and has continued production of their clothing overseas. I have since switched to brands like RoyalApparel and Belle + Canvas for my t-shirt purchases.

Bayside’s Union Made collection is my go-to for affordable t-shirts that are made in America. Their 50/50 blend t-shirts have durable double-needle stitching and a have a great quality feel to them.

Not all Soffe apparel is made in America but they do offer an affordable crewneck that is made in the USA. Their Hero crewneck is worth considering if you are looking for an affordable slim fit tee.

EPTM is a streetwear brand that offers a mix of classic t-shirt fits and contemporary cuts that are sure to turn heads. Their apparel is a great value for the price when compared to more costly designer brands. Their tee's are also better quality than ones you may find in popular fast fashion stores that offer similar styles.
RW&B Outfitters Made in America T-Shirt | Made in USA
RW&B Outfitters
RW&B t-shirts come in a variety of fits including big and tall sizes. These shirts feature a double folded collar and double needle stitching for a durable t-shirt that can withstand multiple wears and washes without a hitch. I also like that the shirts are "overdyed" so that they retain their vibrant colors over time.
